John Jameson - Manager, Eels

John started his career working on commercial fishery development programmes funded by the Australian Government out of Canberra.
He then returned to New Zealand in 1984 to develop mussel farms in Coromandel. John, and his wife Penny, subsequently purchased and managed Thomas Richard and Co., a leading eel processor in Auckland. AFL purchased the Eel Business in 2004.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Fisheries) from Victoria University in Wellington. He has spent time testing trawl nets in the English flume tank facility at Hull. John is a foundation Director of the Eel Enhancement Company'
