Mike has had extensive experience in the meat industry particularly in operations and sales. Most recently he was employed in a Project Management role reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Richmond Ltd. He held primary accountability for business practice alignment to maximise business profitability and improve customer relations. Prior to that Mike was the International Market Services Manager with responsibility for rebuilding global sales and maximising sales revenue. For a long period of time Mike was Plant Manager and Manager of Plants directing five North Island sites for Lowe Walker NZ Ltd, a meat and trading company exporting meat and meat products.
Mike has a range of tertiary qualifications including a Diploma in Meat & Technology, a Diploma in Macro Economics and an MBA from Massey University.
